Suppose you have a collection of photos and you want to share them with the world. A good idea would be making an album out of them and publish it online, so everyone can see it. But the question that arises is what software can be used to do that. The answer is PhotoOnWeb. As its name clearly states, the program allows one to publish all his photos on the producer's website, on a personal site using FTP or just saving it as a folder on the hard disk, to be manually published later on. This way, anyone who uses a web browser will be able to view the photos.

The program is a Windows application and supports almost any versions of this operating system, including XP and Windows 7. It takes up about 5 MB of hard disk space.

The interface of PhotoOnWeb makes it easy for one to add photos. All the user needs to do is to create a new album and to add all his desired photos into it. With the click of a button, all his photos will be published online, allowing anyone to view them.

Photos can be added to the producer's website, in which case the user should enter a username and password. If he hasn't got one, he can create it for free by browsing to the PhotoOnWeb website. Alternatively, he can upload his photo album to a FTP server or save it as a folder on the hard disk, so he can upload it manually.

The list of images can be saved as a file, to be reused later. Furthermore, an unlimited number of photos can be added to an album and even whole image folders can be added. A plain text log file can be accessed at any time from the program's menu, allowing the user to see if there are any errors during the uploading process.

Pros

It can upload an unlimited number of albums and photos to the web using various settings. Besides that, a log file can be accessed, for viewing possible errors. Furthermore, the list of images added to the program can be saved as a file.

Cons

There are no options for customizing the quality of the image files. PhotoOnWeb is the right software for uploading image albums to the web, making them accessible to anyone.
